13. Shunning: Human Trafficking Networks Operate Like A Cult.

The Amish and Mormons are very honest when they shun or banish a person.

    ...

The difference with how Human Trafficking networks

    shun and banish their victims

is that they do not generally openly acknowledge

that this is what they are doing or

that it is even happening at all.

    ...

In this more sophisticated and invisible form of shunning and banishing,

the many members of these networks,

who are embedded into our society,

    prefer to mass-gaslight their victims.

    ...

They will still pretend to be the ‘friend’ of &

have fake ‘concern’ for the victim,

whilst they willfully ignore or actively participate in

shunning, banishing, & shadow-banning the victim.

    ...

When it comes to social media,

the members of the human trafficking networks

will not share or like the posts of the victim,

even when it comes to really important issues,

which may help the victim to obtain life-saving help.

These same people will go out of their way to

overtly share the trivial posts of acquaintances or strangers.

    ...

    If the victim says anything,

they will be accused of not being very good,

or interesting or of just being jealous.

The same technique (in the opposite direction)

is used to promote the businesses and ideas

of the members of the human trafficking network.

To the untrained eye, it looks organic.

    ...

This is exacerbated by the fact that there are

    No effective checks and balances

that prevent members of the human trafficking network

from being employed by the social media platform

or from manipulating algorithms, views, likes & shares.
